Custom graffiti: Final work

Fourteen days straight and the Man Cave is finished!
The client wanted legible graffiti style text, but gave us full artistic licence.

Custom graffiti: Day 8

After the weekend and we've completed the background, introducing two greens fading up the bright blue (here seen from first floor looking out across boat garage space):

Next, I've drawn in the foreground text and shadow, and begun filling in the 3-D block effect (red):

We're undecided about the colour of the foreground "Stefaans" text, but I've started putting in a purple shine highlight with airgun:

The client has changed his mind about painting the supporting pillars.  Instead he wants the grey blocks between the pillars painted with more of his favourite nicknames:

Custom graffiti: Day 6

Our client has approved my design and we've begun paint work on the main feature:

Meanwhile, we're also doing some mock up designs on the pillars...

Custom graffiti: Day 3

I'm up in Mokopane (Potgietersrus) with Picasso's Cousin working on some custom graffiti designs to paint later this week.  Below is a photo of the site, and to the right some initial thoughts on paper...

Client's request:
1.     design something 3-D and readable using his nickname "Blink Stefaans" - to go up on the main feature wall approx. 11m x 5m, starting about 3m above ground level;
2.     create designs for 6 supporting pillars inside the garage

The site: the newly built garage of an avid car collector. Picasso's Cousin refers to it as
'The Man Cave".

I designed all text and colour on site while PC began with undercoat layers and other preparations for paint work...
