At a two month art retreat in south west Virginia, USA, I got a couple of ready-made canvases, some wood off-cuts and found objects, and a box of really good paint, and just played.

I played with colours I'd had in mind for months, as well as images and symbols that were swimming around in me with no particular aim other than to be expressed physically.
